1st Quarter report

Well he made it! Michael got through his first quarter of his 1st year of life! These past 12 weeks have been just perfect, not too fast and not too slow. The best part is that this is only the beginning, and I get to be there with him every step of the way.

I cant believe how different he is from when we first brought him home. I cant believe how different I am! Motherhood has done wonders for me both emotionally and physically. I now know what he needs and he doesn't even have to ask! To think of how we began this endeavor, I cant believe how far we have come together.

Fathers Day

We spent the morning with cards and cuddles from Michael, which is just the best.

In the afternoon Grandma & Grandpa came over to celebrate Fathers Day. We grilled out on the new patio and spent time together as a family. Afterwards the grandparents and Michael took a quick snooze. It was Tony's first fathers day, I hope he enjoyed it!

I'm pretty sure being a Dad is more wonderful than Tony ever thought it could be. Although being a Dad is pretty easy when you have a baby as wonderful as Michael.

Before and After

Jane and Michael hung out today, Aunt Lauren went to get her hair done, so I was left with both them. Here are a couple of videos of what went on while Lauren was gone. It was an interesting day. Props to all those parents of twins, I dont know how you do it.

Best Buds

Hugo has finally taken to Michael, I cant tell you how hard it was to get this picture of them together. Every time I would sit Michael by Hugo he would run away ( literally) I'm so happy to see them getting along.

Additionally, Michael has begun to smile more often. Its just so cool. He also cries. ( sometimes)

A breath of fresh air

New discovery this week, Michael likes it when you blow in his face....yes he did something cute, AGAIN.
It happened by accident at Grandmas house and of course we documented it. And yes folks mom is drinking a cosmo in the video, hey I'm allowed a little fun right??

Whats yours is mine?

Even at 11 weeks old, they want what isn't theirs. Michael, Hugo and I spent a great day in the city with Jane & Aunt Lauren. After our walk he spent some time in Jane's bouncer and ( of course) loved it. I cant get him to sit in his own bouncer AT ALL. I didn't think that would start that early!

The playmat has become his one true love, he loves to lay on it in the morning and chill with mom while she has her morning coffee.

Old & New

Hes got 99 years on you Michael! I'm so glad that Michael has gotten to meet his Great Grandpa Bus. We finally got some pictures together. The old and the young commiserating together, ahh the sparkling conversation they had together.

Note to self - There is a possibility that I may live to be 99....thus be nice to Michael so he will take care of me. I wouldn't want to end up in Shady Pines.

First Shots

My little guy was a trooper, I took pictures of the aftermath.

Play time

Michael has FINALLY started to show interest in his play mat. I don't know if I'm more excited about the fact that he is developing or about the fact that he is finally playing with one of the billions of toys he has.

Of course im excited about the development but I cant tell you how much money is sitting in a box up in his room just waiting to be explored!

Peek- A- Boo ( sort of)

Push ups & Smiles

Babies first smiles ( the real ones not the ones when they are peeing) are fantastic.

At 8 weeks Michael is beginning to have a strong desire to move. We have him work on push ups daily. Most of the days he is motivated but just like us, he has days where he would rather sleep in.
