I realize that I should have taken this picture a year earlier, so I'm a little behind. It still works.

Stades Farm

This year the family headed out to a new pumpkin patch. Stades farm is in McHenry and for those of you with little ones I strongly recommend it. What a great place! So much to do and see for kids of all ages. We visited a hay bale maze, corn box, rode on a tractor out to the pumpkin patch and went down HUGE slide.

It was a great afternoon spent with the family. Thanks to the grandparents, Uncle Aaron, Aunt Lauren and Jane for making it a great day.  Enjoy the pictures!

In case you were wondering...wow why does this post look so much more professioanl and organized?
I'll just clue you in to the fact that I cant believe it took me so long to update the newest version of blogger....finally I can edit pictures  and place them in a somewhat organized fashion.

End of the summer

What a great summer we had! From barbecues with friends, dinners on the lake, trips to the zoo, and good time spent with family, Michael took in the best the season had to offer.

Things us old folks take for granted

What's easy for some is not so easy for others. A big accomplishment this month, Michael finally mastered getting up onto the couch on his own. Take a peek, you'll notice that while getting on the couch has been a success, getting off is another story. He certainly keeps his mom on her toes!
