Redneck Christmas

This year we headed up to the Bass Pro shop in Gurnee to see Santa. Papa Rowan came with us as he wouldn't miss an opportunity to look at guns, fishing lures and hunting apparel! Grandma Rowan came too to check out the mall! Bass Pro had fish, a waterfall, crafts, a shooting range, slot cars, a remote control ATV....everything a little boy could want!

Michael tried out everything while waiting to talk to the big man in red about what he wanted this year. We didn't have to wait to too long and got some popcorn to tide us over before lunch. A perfect start to the holiday season!

Thanksgiving 2012

We headed down to Bloomington for a turkey day weekend this year. Traveling this year was quite different than last. We had just gotten rid of all the stuff for Michael only to realize that we now needed to pack it all up for Penny! Needless to say the trip was pretty hassle free, both the kids ride well in the car. It was great to see all of Tony's family. Everyone chipped in to make the holiday meal extra special.A special thank you to Kayli and Teresa for playing with Michael, he really appreciated the time he spent with you and so did mom and dad!

Michael has become very fond of his "beeby Seester" We cant believe she is 2 months old already! Here are some pictures from our trip to B-town.

Halloween 2012

From pumpkin carving to trick o treating, Halloween this year was such a success!
Who doesnt love candy, pumpkin seeds and of course small children in costumes.....

Clair and Penny eagerly watched their older siblings get ready for the big event. They both were taking it all in.They want to know exactly what to do when their turn comes next year!

Michael and Jane hit the town of Fox River Grove this year, armed with their nothing but their costumes and their cuteness they set off to with one goal. Get as much candy as possible!

They were quite successful! Michael did a great job remembering to say trick or treat and thank you. By the first house he had gotten the concept down and was off running.

After begging for candy we all headed back to Aunt Laurens house for dinner and treats. I know I have said this before but its so awesome that the kids are so close in age. It has opened up another world for my sister and I to share together. ENJOY

Peek a boo!

Im watching my big bro carve pumpkins!

Pretzel chips...a MPG fav.
