A catalog of stories about Michael and Penny's life. While it may not be the most earth shattering news, at times they can be simply magnificent.

Boat ride
Kentucky 2012
This summers annual trip to Kentucky was a success! In our 8th year coming to Hickory Hill resort the weather and the laughter didn't disappoint. There was swimming in lake, boat rides, pouring water at the pool, and games played with family. Michael had a wonderful time with the Gorrie clan! He was especially fond of his Uncle Steve and Aunt Kathy.
It was the perfect week for a little boy to run, jump, swim and play. Tony and I enjoyed the time with his family as well as spending the week Michael. Here are some pictures from the trip.

Summer Friends
Michael has had a wonderful summer this year.He celebrated the fourth with his buds Justin and Derek. We had a nice visit from our Bloomington friends, Jason, Becky, Nika and Kylar. He also went to a number of birthday parties including his next door neighbor Gavin where they had a bouncy house which was a huge hit.
It makes me feel so good to see him developing relationships with other kids. While I know they aren't meaningful and deep. They are certainly paving the way for his future development. Making relationships is essential for a child's development, I'm glad to know that he is having fun experiencing it!
