Here they are 100 days smarter! Everyone brought in 100 of something. Michael chose M&Ms' and then came home with bag of treat from all hi friends. Very cute idea. They all had fun today doing many things 100 times!
The kids had some fun with the Olympics. They had a "parade" with flags of the different countries and an "Olympic Torch". They talked about the Olympic Flag and the symbol behind the rings.
A catalog of stories about Michael and Penny's life. While it may not be the most earth shattering news, at times they can be simply magnificent.

Winter at Montessori
We were all happy to be back today at school. Especially Mom and Dad, while the two weeks were fun I think we were all ready to get back into our routine.
Much of the new work Michael is working on goes well with the current weather.
There are Artic animals, make your own snow, penguins, and many more fun things out to work on. The children are are also working on "calling" their home phone numbers and our friends numbers.
The kids also made it outside and worked hard to get through the snow each Wednesday to go sledding. The children enjoyed the snow - sledding, at times, difficult because deep light snow not packed down. Afterwards the kids enjoyed a snack and hot chocolate, what could be better than that.
Ahhh to be 3 if only for a day!
The month of February is off to a good start. The children made our lanterns for Chinese New Year along with ground hogs to start the month. The kids had many exciting works out this month. They will learn about their body and how to keep them healthy. Brushing teeth is one of the favorite
works, along with playing in the shaving cream. The kids have also been building towers and log
cabins.
The kids are also preparing for Valentines Day, and are excited that the 100th day of
school is almost here. More to come soon on this! Montessori for life!

Making the best out of a harsh winter!
Well it seems like winter is never going to end! While we all love the snow I think this family would be ok if we didnt see anymore of it until next year! However, we have had some fun in the new year!!
To start we had our friends Tiff and Dave over for dinner, they brought their darling daughter Regan who took quite nicely to Penny!!So glad to be able to share this time with friends!
Michael tried to go ice fishing with Papa but the drill broke and they needed to come in. None the less it was nice to get out on the ice, right? I'm sure they will go again!!
We also went to a pretty sweet superbowl party at my sisters house. We had some good snacks, great soup and the kids had a blast paying together and making valentines. So while its still snowing and plans on snowing more, we continue to make the best of spending time with our little smalls!!
