Darth err....Michael turns 4!

This year Michael's celebration started at school this year. Montessori has a very special birthday celebration. Each child brings in pictures from birth to their current birthday year. The children sing happy birthday, and there is a special candle lit that Michael gets to blow out. He gets to wear a crown and the room 2 friends got him a special book for his birthday. Not a bad way to spend your birthday at school huh! lastly there were treats to help end this special celebration.

We had a great party for him at the house. Many of his friends joined him, in his Star wars themed party. There was running, screaming, dancing, cake eating, and after all that...... presents. Thanks to everyone who came out to cleebrate with him, I cant tell you how much I enjoy kids biorthday parties, they are the best!

Dads Night at Montessori

Last night Tony and Michael ventured out to Montessori for Dads night. Michael was able to show Dad his favorite work, introduce him to his friends and their dads. They did a variety of work, sat strong on the line, and even sang a few songs. I would have liked to have seen that!
I cant tell you how much we love this place, it has and will continue to be an amazing experience! NOW when is MOMS night!!!!

Here are a couple of pictures from the evening!

Fat Tuesday, Montessori Style

Today the kids had a parade and some "King cake"  for Mardi Gras. They danced and learned about Louisiana and the city of New Orleans. They recived beads and a coin for thier particpatation in the event. They also were able to put together their own unique Marti Gras mask for the parade, what a fun day! Its times like this where I wish I would have called in sick to work so I could have joined in the celebration! But then I realize that regardless if I am there or not, Michael is getting to have these experiences and that's all that matters! ENJOY!

The Marti Gras Group!

Look who is behind those mask's!

Thumbs up on a day well spent
