A Fireman is your friend
Many of you already know that my dad, Michael and Penny's grandfather, is heavily involved in the Barrington Fire department. While that comes with its own set of stories, the perks are that the kids get to see a lot of fire trucks, tour the fire station and, on open house day get some pretty delicious doughnuts. Recently my Dad went to Minnesota to check out a new tanker, to his delight it seemed to be a good truck so they fire department purchased it. Grandpa took Michael over to the fire house to check out the tanker, I must say I think MPG was impressed!
