MPG & PEN Winter 2015

I am happy to say that I cannot believe how quickly Winter flew by this year. ( I know its still freezing out but we are over the hump, right??)

Michael has been doing many exciting things his Montessori classroom. From learning about volcano's, the solar system and is ever favorite  the hundred board (I think he would do that board all day)

Tony and I couldn't be more pleased with his educational development. The children have been building snow men, learning about the Chinese new year, and parting hard for Marti Gra.

Michael has also begun to learn sight words, he is on book 4 our of 16 and is plowing through them like a champ. Can it be true, will he be in KINDERGARDEN next year, whoa!

Our darling Penny is growing by leaps and bounds! She is using her own utensils, cant get enough of vegetables, letting me do her hair, and finally sleeping in a big girl bed. She spent a girls day with mom and we went to see my dear friend Gina where she got her toes and nails done for the first time.

We have put in her registration for Montessori next year, and will be in the same class as her big brother, I cant wait to see Montessori through Penny's eyes!!!

It will be a sad summer saying good bye to Mrs Carolyn as she has been such and influential part in our children lives! (Ill be sure to blog on that later on in the year)

The kids have also connected with their cousins, Ill say it again, my sister and I have to be the luckiest people on the planet. It is a JOY to be able to share our children with each other. I will never forget this time.

Lastly, Michael and Penny have become a working team. Their compassion and love for each other  is  amazing. They help each other, support each other, play games together, converse together and yes argue with each other (after all they are human).

MPG and Pen Pen, years later when you are reading this wonderful blog your mother put together for you ( let's be honest this is for me) you will know that you two have a very special connection, don't ever forget that!
