Indy - Mark and Tammy style! 2015

We FINALLY made it to Mark and Tammy's in Indianapolis. It couldn't have been a more beautiful weekend. We arrived on Friday evening an began the weekend with some chicken sightings. We headed downtown for dinner at FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY. What a great event! Michael got a slice of pizza the SIZE of a food truck, and then talked Mark's and Tammy's friend John into getting him a doughnut that was equally as large. We then headed back to the house for some wine and good conversation.

Uhh Penny was excited....

Waiting for the food

Is the food coming????

Perfect size for MPG

Penny preferred french fries... of course

So happy to be here!

Saturday morning we headed out to the Kohl's children museum. WHAT A PLACE! We saw dinosaurs, played with trains, dug in the dirt, played with hand blown glass, road the carousel, and learned how to tell the time on a HUGE water clock. It was a really cool place to spend the day.

While Penny napped, Michael helped Tammy plant some herbs and water the grass, its really so cool to see the kids interact with their family. I'm so happy that they feel so comfortable with them. Mark and Tammy should feel good about that as they have a kind and playful nature with them. Something that Tony and I really appreciate! After naps and planting the kids played bags for a bit while the adults got dinner ready. John and Emily came over for dinner and we had a wonderful time eating, drinking, laughing ( there was also some talk of butts and farts.. but that is typical with the Gorrie boys)  We ended the evening with a fire.

Thanks so much for your hospitality Mark and Tammy you have a BEAUTIFUL home!
