Horse tooth Reservoir

Our first day in Fort Collins, we decided to take a short drive ( 15 min) to Horse Tooth Reservoir so we could see what the mountains had to offer, little did we know that these were just the foothills there was more to come! Michael did a FABULOUS job hiking. He took a 40 minute hike with us, he had a little learning to do, like watching where he walked, as there were rocks ect on the trail. Penny was in this awesome backpack that Kate and Dave let us borrow so she could see the sites while staying safe on her daddy's back. I was SUPER nervous to drive up in the foothills, and had a bit of anxiety but made it through. I have to say it was absolutely worth it!! What an amazing first day we had, it was more than I could have imagined and these were only the foothills!!

We found small cave covered with tress, it was very cool! Such a wonderful first day!
