Saddle up Folks, Colorado bound!

2014 is the beginning of the Gorrie family road trip. Our destination this year was Colorado, to visit our dear friends Kate and Dave in Fort Collins Colorado.  Through a series of posts I plan to outline not only our destination but the journey we took to get there. While the destination was more than we all could have ever expected, the journey was an amazing trip as well. We set out for Omaha, our first stop. We chose a hotel that had a fun pool for the kids as we weren't sure how they were going to handle the first seven hour trek. I have to say they were fabulous!!! None the less they still enjoyed the pool and dinner and drinks with some old friends we met up with in Omaha. You would never imagine that the midwest would have such a diverse town but I have to tell you the old market is a great place to eat, drink and see the sites. Finally we hit the road on the second day and arrived in Fort Collins!!!
